Being from Canada we don't get to regularly meet SMB owners like some of you guys are lucky enough to do. So it was really great to meet a few of you on our way back and have such a warm welcoming as we drove by. Where else could a stranger welcome another stranger into his house, share their food (awesome cinnamon buns guys!) and have great conversation solely for the passion of a vehicle and lifestyle!!! Now just waiting to return the favor :-D

We also got to meet Larrie (with whom we had previously meet at a couple NWOR events) and Skyrat who made the detour to meet us on the beach for a few hours. Simply amazing bunch of people!

Cheers
David

I figured out what it is: The narrower box, and the rounded corners.

Do you know who builds that box? (forgive me if it's in here somewhere)

No worries, don't think I ever mentioned it. It's built by Crestline.

Moving along with the shower/Propane cabinet. Still need the countertop but at least the propane tank is secured and soon to be sealed. Also drilled a hole in the floor in case of propane leak...

I also decided to mount my ARB twin directly under where the propane tank is. I'll extend/relocate the filters inside that cabinet and same for the quick connect air outlet. That little cabinet will come handy to store all those hoses!

With my friend Jay we added a few plugs (USB and cig) and electrical outlets.

This one is behind the sink and services the fridge and soon to be microwave.

And the sink found its nest...

Going back at it now :-D
Catch up later!

Thank you guys.

I could never imagine buying a van that wouldn't need anything (Expo ready) cause I enjoy building them as much as driving them!

So I moved on with some old and new projects
Im heading out camping for a week or so next week. Lots of dirt so deflating will be a must... So this is what I did yesterday.

Got the ARB twin from a fellow Expo member, new in box for $370. A lot of money but couldn't pass on such a good deal! I also had a tank from another application that I converted for my air system (it used to be filled with charcoal as an industrial filtration device). Only thing I need to change soon is to add an extra outlet for drain but in the meantime it works.

I mounted the compressor upside down in front of the rear passenger wheel and the tank along the frame. It's well protected there. I didn't like the filters out in the elements so I put some extensions and the filters are now by the propane compartment along with the air hose connection. Turned out great!

One weird thing is if I keep the compressor switched on the fan runs nonstop. Not a big deal as I just flip the dash mounted switch off when not in use but curious if this is normal?

I got more coming up, just gotta upload some pictures to make it more interesting... See you soon!

Cheers
David

Got tired to look at those ply counter tops. Found soon left over bamboo flooring planks and got going at it!

Looking good!

My only comment would be protect those air hoses as they go through the body/cabinets. They'll chafe through sooner or later..
