this is exactly the sort of thread I was hoping to find.... great info here and gives me a foundation to start with on my soundproofing ... its decent as is (prev owner did some) but I want to up the ante a bit

At this point the van is quieter then my father-in-laws new dodge diesel. Its still not as quite as my wife's luxury sedan but its pretty damn good.
