Best Gaucho bed for two

I've been looking at options for gaucho style beds and have seen the eBay one, RB components and a couple others which all appear to be the same. Does anyone know of other brands that are wider for sleeping with two people? I don't want to order one and it be too slim and waste my money so opinions would be helpful as well.

Thanks for the help.

How wide? What is the useable distance from the side wall?

Ive been mocking up a layout using sticks and screws and plywood and plastic cabinets. This is my first north-south floorpan. It's great to be able to have side and rear egress. I made a flip style couch/bed behind the driver seat that's 77" long and the bed flips open to 48" wide. This leaves about 6" of room between it and the cabinets at the side door area. Could have made it that much wider but there's just enough room to pass thru vs crawling over the bed to get to the porta potty at the rear.

I'm not much help with your question but it made me ask another.

48 would be awesome. The pre fabbed ones are about 43 and it's a little on the small side for my girlfriend and I since I'm 6'3" and she is about 5'10". I'd be happy to check out your plans if willing to share.

Garage
How could you order one and find it is too slim? I'm sure all listings would include the width.

I don't want to think a certain width would be comfortable and then it be too small after all. That's what I meant, not regarding the size in relation to the width of the van.

Regis, I would like to see your drawings / concept. I, too have pondered a Gaucho style. We have a total platform in the rear w/ a queen, with storage under. It's nice for sleeping. But, creates access issues.

It's a 48" x 77" section of plywood. I then cut that into two 24 x 77 pieces. Hinged together. I tried it for the first time during the last few days. It's ok. I have to remove the pillows, roll up both cushions, flip the thing, then rebuild into bed mode. Cumbersome a bit. I either have to place the cushions in the drivers area or toward the back for room to work. meh, moot point but nonetheless. There is just enough room when flipped to squeeze by vs climbing over the bed to get either front or rearward. I'll give it another try but laying there, I was dreaming up plans for a gaucho. Slide it forward, slide the upper cushion forward and yer dun.

Hello. Can you please post a link to the eBay ones or post the key words you are searching? Is it this one:
