Big Mike the adventure van

Everyone: meet Big Mike the adventure van.
This is a project that I started back in November of '16 and have been working on about 3/4 of the time since. I designed and built the v-top in the westy style, insulated, and installed it on my 2012 Chevy 3500. Installed gas springs and a lifting hinge ala volkswagen, had a local firm fab the tent, and installed it the other day. So far pretty happy with the results.

Oh I've got pix. I want to post a comprehensive build thread soon, but SOMETHING is eating up all my spare time. here are a couple just to whet your appetites: The first is the plug and the second is me turning the mold over with the plug off and in the background.

I'm sure you have many hours in making the mold.
The end result is fantastic.
