It is a UNICAT. A Unimog clone.

Still very cool.

A used one costs about $350k to $700k (top raises to expose windows ... like the one shown).

Really very cheap. That is only about $2 per light, switch, button on the control panel.

What a bizarre thread.

The first pic is of a very expensive Unicat. Garbage trucks don't have awnings and side entry.

Unimog is a truck company owned by mercedes. Some Unicat campers are built on Unimog.
