Clever idea - Slide out countertop sink top

Not mine but....

When I saw this picture I thought it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen.
I love space saving, countertop space and anything that's dual function!

Being a Gemini, my twin, Damien, wants to rip out my existing cabinet and start modifying. He is never satisfied.

That's cool. I've thought of doing this a few ways but haven't seen that one.

Clever indeed and a simple solution. Wouldn't work for my setup though.

I thing most--or a lot---of us here must also be Gemin's too!

Nice idea for sure---gives a bit more counter space which can't hurt.

Sink Cover

That is awesome, wish it was part of my build.

Frustrated with not enough counter space I took a dremel tool to a store bought dish washing tray and then glued white end caps.

Actually works pretty cool as I can use it as a rack and still use the sink.Click image for larger version
