Now that the Frame is installed and bolted down. It is time to drop this top onto the beast. This is where you have to be very clever and somehow manage to get a 14+ft fiberglass top onto your van...........
Specially with a 6" ujoint lift and 35"s
Forklift is best, but mine was dead. So I pulled out my trusty John Deere Tractor (with fork lift arms) and threw on some large fork extensions. Wish I had a picture of this, but it was getting late and somehow I managed to get the top on by myself with the tractor. With a few 2x4's laying around I managed to set it on the frame with the 2x4's as "stickers"...then proceeded to go inside and prop one side up with another 2x4 and remove the "sticker" and lower the front side of the top down, and then repeated for the rear. Walla! Drop the top.
Align the top on the frame and with the roofline of van(while it is down all the way). Then Drill and bolt through the top and frame. Pretty straight forward.
