E 350 rear bumpers... What are you running and how do you rate them?
About to order a rear swing out bumper...
I started reading the other thread about this and couldn't find what anyone had to say pos or neg about the Aluminess, TrailReady, or Buckstop options.
Looking forward to getting this full sized spare out of the rear of the van...
What can you tell me of your experience running any of these bumpers? Can you recommend anything else?

Using Aluminess swingarms.
I'm pretty sure I've got more storage space than Aluminess.
Two things I'm attempting to improve are having the bumper watertight, and using flush mount LED lights instead of ones that sit behind the face of the bumper. I also have a really nice and simple backup sensor mounting method.
Everything will be powdercoated black when the project is completed.

I've got Aluminess front and rear on my van right now. My only complaint is that the pins that the swing outs latch to have worn considerably where the latch rubs on it. I think the pins could be rplaced fairly easy though.
I've had Buckstop bumpers on 2 pickups in steel and aluminum. For some reason the aluminum Buckstop bumper powdercoating had a textured finish. Both Aluminess and Buckstop coatings seem to be much better quality than other aftermarket powdercoated bumpers I have owned.
I'm thinking about taking off my black Aluminess bumpers and buying something similar, but powdercoated white to match my van. I'm keeping an eye on the other bumper thread that the guy in San Diego is building.

I have Alumines front and rear. BUT if I was in the market for new bumpers I'd go with Freddy, his stuff is awesome and the price is in line for steel… He'll be fab'n up some sliders for me this summer for sure...

Got a look at an aluminess rear with swing arms when I was picking up my rig. They are really light!! I'd still like to have some steel in it where it takes the weight of the tires, but aluminum shell would be a big weight saver.

While I don't have any experience with them, these don't look half bad --- and it looks like the van of SMB forum member carringb is featured in at least one of the pictures.
Aluminum and Steel construction options.
Cheaper than Aluminess.
edit: just noticed you already mentioned these bumpers as something you're looking at. But SMB forum member carringb seems to indeed be running at least one of their bumpers (a front one) --- as someone to get feedback from.
