Re: East Coast Ground up

Hey Scott.
Sorry Mate. Just got home. Spent 2 weeks along WC. Caught a ton of surf. Including Rincon chest high with only two guys out.. Unfortunately I had rare internet to contact you. I should have gotten your phone number. Really would have liked to shared a wave or two. Surfed LaJolla a few times. Stopped at Birds surf shed, he was impressed with the van..
6 weeks on the road and only two nights in a hotel, my wife preferred the van after she made me promise a hotel every few days. Only glitch was water pump check valve screwed up and we had to pull fuse every night. Under warranty and got home to a new one waiting for us.
We will be heading back next year or year after. Got screwed out of Zion and a few other parks on way home. Damn Feds..
Cheers
Paul

JWA. Wish I knew that company existed on east coast. Would have been a lot better of a choice if the price was reasonable..

Re: East Coast Ground up

Just thought I'd post this. I had mounted a manchester propane tank under van in which my buddy who is a plumber attache line via black pipe from 2 stage regulator thru bottom of van into bed box with a manifold supplying each propane fed appliance. I have replace my regulator once already due to leak outside, Ive driven across country and many trips over last year aprox 15,000 miles. I felt the black pipe was too rigid and application causing stress to regulator. I was correct. I took it to an Rv place. They attached a flex hose from two stage to the black pipe and a mock up shield till i make a thicker gauge one. Pic doesnt show hose but thought if anyone else is doing it themselves they may want to go this route..Hope it helps anyone out there.

Re: East Coast Ground up

Made simple fishing pole holder modification. Used existing bolts from thule roof rack. Lg washer and lock nut, space between I used a gear tie wrap from EMS. Holds them in place on ceiling out of way, similar to my Stand up paddle board paddle holder. Keeps them off the floor..
