F-250 placeholder junk work wheels/tires?
I need to find a set of “junk, work” wheels for my donor.
It came with a nice set up of 35’s that I plan to use on my conversion.
My question is: Do all F-250/350 (others) have the same lug pattern across the years? What is it 8-170mm?
Second question: what is a good source for the spacers to convert the F- lugs to the E- lugs (8-6.5”?)
This is what I got with the donor:

Superduty pickups went to 8x170 starting in '99.
Since you have a 4x4 using a Superduty axle, what bolt pattern are you running? It should already be 8x170 unless the unit bearings where re-drilled.
Most folks get rear wheel adapters from https://www.wheeladapter.com

Ah, yes of course, I need an adapter for my rear to accommodate
the 8-170’s not the other way around.
Thanks for that and the ‘99 on- info.
I’m driving all around Saint Petersburg Florida to ever used tire place.
It proves futile to try to find them over the phone.
Missed one set by a week.
Next stop will be the U pick junkyard
Thanks Ahgain

Huh? There's tons of them.
Go to www.car-part.com
Search by vehicle -> 2002 F250 Superduty --> Wheel with picture and enter your zip. I get pages of results.

Thanks,
I’ll look there.
Hoping to find them cheap so it never occurred to me
to look online other than local CL which didn’t have any.

I'm going through this search right now. My Dodge uses the 8 by 6.5" BCD (165.1mm) and can take the old Ford pattern before they switched to 170. Ford centerbore is the largest of the three (Ford, Dodge, Chev) and can be used on all. I'm seeing numerous offerings on our local CL, some of them with terrific pricing, but everything is 170 and not the 6.5 that I need. Good luck to you!

You as well.
I’ve sent out a couple of quote requests through the Car-part link
that carringb posted.
I’ll see if some of those come back.
Here’s that link again.

I’m still checking my local craigslist regularly with no luck.

Lesson for other noobs re: wheels
Search still not proving easy without actually going to the U-Pick salvage yard.
Not surprisingly yards don't inventory “conversion/resto” “project” grade wheels. But the U-Pick in my area does inventory vehicles so ,fingers crossed, I hope score a set tomorrow.
Lesson for the day that I might have figured out if I read the Senior Members replies more closely:
A 1999 and on F-250 (350) is not an F-250 (350) Super Duty unless it IS an F-250(350) Super Duty. The light versions (read: not Super Duty) kept the 8 lug 6.5 wheels. WHY, in Ford’s infinite wisdom, did they create the 8 lug 170mm which is what? 3/16ths” maybe, difference is beyond me.
(If there is a logical reason please don’t tell me. For the time being I am enjoying cussing the desk jockey engineers that came up with that one.)
At least I think the above was the lesson I learned when I drove an hour and a half round trip to buy what ever these are. Advertised on CL as off an F-250.
