If you paid $5,500 for this van it was the deal of a life time and the seller must have been smoking to much Cannabis!!
The van alone was worth $5,500 without the 4wd conversion below are reported auction sales from across the nation
01/26/12 EL PASO Lease $9,300 41,820 Avg BROWN 10G A No
06/27/12 CALIFORN Regular $5,500 45,870 Avg WHITE 10G A No
10/03/12 MILWAUKE Lease $5,300 120,991 Avg WHITE 10G A No
12/13/12 PHOENIX Regular $4,500 166,924 Avg WHITE 10G A No
and you have to figure buy fee's of $350.00 + transport fee's of at least $500.00 and then any shop bill/detail from service department before the van would be lot ready so figure around another $500-700.00!
Now the ACV would put you at around $7,000.00 on a "2WD" the 4wd conversion was worth 2 times what you paid just for the van....
Kelly blue book value
and then to top it off 14mpg avrg on hwy you must have had wind pushing you down hill lol I have never heard of any v10 hitting over 12mpg even SMB will tell ya 11-12 mpg, sounds like what a salesman would tell a potential customer he or she would avrg with a v10
pm me the sellers email so I can slap him or here
Congrats on the van!
