INTERIOR BUILD

Hi:

Just about ready to start my "temporary" interior which will be pretty rough for my first trip.

My plan is to bolt 2 pieces of oak, 6" X approx 9' horizontally along the drivers side wall and another matching piece (shorter) along the passenger side. This will give me something to screw my E-Track to which will support my simple platform bed. I have the necessary sets of brackets to hold the 2X4's that will run across the van width. Final bed size looks like approx 4'X6' + or -
Question is this: Should I place a piece/strip of Reflectix between the oak and the metal interior wall to prevent rubbing/squeaking and provide a little bit of cushioning?
This would seem to make sense to me.

Again the E-Track is just temporary for the 2 month trip. I intend to remove the E-Track at some point and add the walls and cabinets (RB-50 style layout) in the future.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciasted.

Re: INTERIOR BUILD

Why the e-track if it's just temporary. Couldn't the 2x4's just rest on the oak pieces with some bracing in the middle of span?
