It seems most of us here are also the DIY types who enjoy building, re-modeling or tweaking designs for whatever needs we have or believe we have when it comes to these motorized campgrounds. In my case I run nothing more than a cargo/work van but this site has a lot of great ideas and feedback that can be converted to suit me. There is usually enough ideas floated that become brain storming which is also quite useful more often than not.
As for "worth" Buck says this best. If something simply MUST fit into a budget so as not to affect the quality of life on the homefront perhaps its not the time to delve into something like a SMB or its variants? I'll bet none of us own a vehicle that's the same now as it was when brand new off the showroom floor so I'm thinking as we add more and more to something that rapidly depreciates, modifications that would be important to only a very small segment of a potential resale market how are we affecting "worth" then?
If its not already been said something is worth no more than we can sell if for in our market, where ever or whatever that might be. No Kelly Blue Book or any other BS publication can effectively predict or dictate what someone will pay for something. Buy, change or improve whatever you want assuming it suits your needs or fancy at the moment AND that its within the disposable budget!
