I really wish I had a good reason to run 44"s. In all honesty, it's often hard to justify 4x4 and 32"s for 95% of my driving. Maybe that just means I don't get out enough.
35" Toyo tires are i think the best daily drive tires for big 4x4, these fender flares are made here in Iceland ,but i am going for bigger tires 42" Irock and for winter i hope to go to 46" mikkey thomson and bigger fender flares for 46"
Wow! It is so awesome to have you here Larus. I would like to think that I understand completely the use of the largest tires possible with stock or limited axle articulation even with a lift.
In my area...the needs are similar.
Differential(axle) clearance is king. Second to that...not having limited slips and/or lockers in the differentials are the only thing holding a guy back around here.
Visually...people scoff at such a set up here. But you'll have the last laugh as you leave them behind.
Tire size is THE ONLY THING that increases differential clearance.
