Need help on a trailer conversion problem....

I have a great little trailer that I bought second hand. Its a super light but strong job that is a perfect size for what I need. Currently it has a little "trailer axle and wheels" on it and is rated for about 1800lbs - perfect for what I need. I would really like to put wheels on it that match my van. (resolves the spare issue) The van currently has 8 lug wheels, the trailer has little 5 lug wheels.

Anybody have ideas on the easiest and best way to work this one out? - I have looked for wheel spacers but can find a conversion for the patterns..

Thanks

I had mine made in CA. $80 ea. Had to drill the rims too

One note: I also have a 5 Lug spare I throw in back when room. Or if someone else is towing (rare). Oops, trailer shot shows old rims I'll revise ASAP

I have the same issue with a trailer that has 5 lugs and would like it to match the van. These adapters would work but at $260 a pair not very economical.

You might try changing the hub. Here is a hub/brake drum with the correct bolt pattern for cheap:

You may have to change the stub axle or get some special bearing to adapt to the axle you have.
