I bought my van sight unseen from Enterprise Ride Share via eBay, and had it drop-shipped to my house to avoid CA sales tax. Zero issues. Exactly as stated. I even paid with a direct wire transfer

It has 105,500 miles when I bought it. 443,000 now. So far so good. Enterprise did throw in a powertrain warranty to 150,000 which of course was never needed but was nice to know they stood by their vans.

Thank you, everyone!

I appreciate all the comments/insights/etc.

The dealer offered me a really good deal. I bought the van! WAHOO!

They will arrange the shipping and I hope to get the van in a week or so.

Now onto the fun of planning and building! (After I auction off a kidney ...)

So what's the first mod? A top? 4WD? Insulation & floor? Keep us posted.. it's always fun to watch a build.

I'm not quite sure yet ... it will totally depend on budget as I need to hire someone to do most of the build (all thumbs, no skills, and no experience).
I think I'd like to do a front seat swivel, replace the rear side windows with something with screens and add a floor. I do want to add a top (fiberglass) as I'd like to stand up straight .. then onto the electrical (shore power and solar) and then the bed/counter/water/cabinets ...

It is a bit overwhelming!

Hmmm....sounds like Eric (86Scotty) should just deliver it to his house then and do the build for you. I mean his project is practically wrapped up.

I can tell you I have done my own builds (no snide comments Robb) and if this opportunity was availed to me to have 86scotty do MY build, I would not hesitate at all.

You will save yourself from unimaginable headaches and stress.
