So so true! Too bad I didn't win the Powerball last night. I think I'm gonna need it!

Most definitely. I've been noodling on how to attach a small smoker to the hitch (not a trailer) so I can combine my 2 of my favorite hobbies.

BBQ is an awesome hobby! My bro does a lot of smoking as well ...

Fortunately, my hobby is photography ... smaller package so I don't need a seperate trailer (yet) .... but can be really expensive.

Very cool. Unfortunately we sold our Big Green Egg when we left California (didn't want to risk it getting broken in the move), and we sold our large offset box smoker (too big and too heavy to move), but my wife inherited her dad's Fast Eddy (Cookshack) pellet smoker oven which we just had delivered earlier this Summer. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, but we're anxious too now that it's cooling down outside.

For the van, I just use a Smokey Joe Weber.. it's adequate.

8-10 hour pork shoulder from the Smokey Joe:

In CO a few years back.. the shoulder was a bit big and I ended up having to strap the grill closed..

I like what these folks did on their StowAway hitch carrier:

That pork shoulder is beautiful! I've heard great things about Smokey Joe. I know this belongs in the Amazing Ribs forum, but I cook on an XL Big Green Egg, Pit Barrel Cooker, 22" Weber and a classic PK grill. While I've transported the Pit Barrel, the PK is more versatile and durable, so I was thinking about something like that stowaway Otter posted.

Ha. Great minds think alike...

I've got a 22" Weber, electric smoker and small gas grill at home, an off-brand XL kamado at my cabin.. but that PK looks pretty sweet too.
