The surface of the PH top is smooth and shiny. There's of course ribs (like corrugated sheet metal) running the length of the PH top.

And like an earlier thread the parts of the roof where the rubber lip of the PH top touches is taped with a thick-ish black tape so that the rubber lip doesn't rub off the paint.
