Re: Propane, Tunnels, and is my Propex install worth the hassle?

I'm going to sell the Propex and the tank and go back to the drawing board.

I cannot limit myself that much, seeing as I live surrounded by tunnels.

Sigh.

Re: Propane, Tunnels, and is my Propex install worth the hassle?

I'm originally from NJ/NY and if it were me I would not install propane regardless of what the law/rules are. My uncle has a pleasureway and always has to drive around.

I guess if you are not using the van that much a "small detour" isn't a big deal. I lived in Brooklyn and NY for 7 years and my family is in NJ. Avoiding the Holland or Lincoln would have been a PITA.

Out here in Colorado hauling propane is not an issue... However the food SUCKS

Sorry to hear it Paul. I know what it's like to hit a dead end like that. After your short "discussion" with the tunnel authority it seems you don't have much choice. The guys working security at the tunnel would probably just parrot his line.

On the bright side I know this guy who's almost completed a Webasto install and would be happy to help.

Thanks Dave.

You may regret that offer one day...
