Rear ProAir removal

I have a ford van that was equipped with the rear heat and A/C unit, that has since been removed. All that is left are the lines that come down underneath on the driver's side out of the engine bay. They are metal lines and I have them plugged now with a chunk of coolant hose shaped in a "U-turn" to simply allow the lines to push fluid around. However, the coolant hose keeps cracking and creating a leak, does anyone have a permanent way to plug the line that is going to last? I replace this thing about once a month. I have searched for plugs, but can't find anything in the right size. Thanks!

Re: Rear ProAir removal

You could do a metal u-turn and connect with 2 strait line coolant hose, might crack less.

Use Silicone hose. It can come in any color, but blue is the most common color that is stocked.

Re: Rear ProAir removal

We had an auto air conditioning shop remove our rear A/C. They used OEM Ford parts to install under the hood that eliminated the tee's in the coolant lines. Then the coolant lines can be completely removed. The parts were expensive.
