Had the Aluminess Bike Rack swingarm and sold it this spring after owning/using it the last 2 years. Bikes were too high up there for my liking and I still had to find a spot for the front wheels inside... Went to a Northshore rack and I've been super happy with it. Much easier to load, can carry more bikes too - we went with the 6 bike version.

Having the bikes on a swing-away is key for me. I hate dancing around a hitch rack to access the rear cargo doors. But, if you have to carry 4 bikes there's no easy option. Maybe the Hollywood?

Anyway, here's my fix for the hitch extender to take the wobble out.

Probably not what you are looking for, but we really like our Gear Space 34 by Let's Go Aero. Expensive, but 2 road bikes fit nicely inside with room for wheels, a couple of gear bags with shoes, helmets, pump, etc. Gets it all out of the van.

I have this rack, we use in on both our jeeps and E350. Holds 5 bikes. My friend has the same rack mounted on his sportsmobile with a swingout. I havent bought a swing out yet. Really bada** racks, have used it for a year now of shuttling bikes up and down dirt roads with no issues. The news ones are built even more burly. Cody is a pretty awesome guy.

Too funny, I was just about to make a post about Recon racks, I have a 1upUSA rack I love but got my Sportsmobile shortly after and wish I would have gotten a recon rack instead to be able to hold more bikes and they would tilt out of the way better with the rear barn doors. The new ones look very nice.
