The Beast-2WD Weekender Project

Found a super clean low miles van. Did some tune up work fixing all the little items...brakes, cruise control, AC...then added top, bottom bed, and a ton of other little things to get it dialed and done right.

Colorado Campervan Top, Action Van lift, 285/70/17 Wheels, fold down seat with belts, bed extension over cargo area. Just added aux battery. Future projects include nerf step bar, awning, and modifying trailer hitch so I can fit a 33" tire under the van. Wanted a 4wd look with out the gas and insurance issues costs.

Goal was to build a better "eurovan weekender" type van. Keep it simple and still transport 8+ people.

The Top -super huge area

The bottom - full seat belts, can fit the middle seat if needed, and another huge bed to sleep in with plenty of storage below

Yeah nice build, the rig looks great.

I too would like to know where the bench/bed came from.

Have you had any problems with the RSC system in the van since you lifted it? I have read that the action van lifts sometimes cause the RSC ECU to freak out.

I would like to build similar except with and ext body van.

Really nice!

What type of layout do you use for weekend getaways or outings that require bringing along more "stuff?"

I would like to know where you got the folding bench as well if you care to share.

Thanks,

Re: The Beast-2WD Weekender Project

Ditto on the bench/bed. This is exactly what I'm looking to do for my build. Good work.
