Ford Upfitter switch wiring is a terrible joke. I ended up using Rigid harness after two hours of searching. Super disappointed that a great option is so user unfriendly.

What's troubling you??

I can pass on some help here. MGMetalworks put me on the trail. If you have the switches, it shouldn't be difficult. If you don't but have the plug in harness, then it's slightly more difficult. If you have neither than you are me and now own a bunch of terminal ends and a Ford electrical book and spent way too long tracking down obscure part numbers

I found the 4 pass through wires under the hood and that's it. Can't locate anything under the dash. I do have the upfitter switches.

If the switches were factory installed, then the pass throughs are where they end. They actually come from the relays in the battery junction box. If you can't get them to go live, then chances are either the relays or fuses are missing or both. all the interior switches do is trigger the relays and you have the stub ends under the hood.

Check page 7, it shows the fuse numbers and relay numbers. Also check the Junction box in the cab to make sure it's fuse is in there, that is shown on page 7 as well.

Good luck!

Good luck!! Thank MGMetalworks as well, he helped me a ton on figuring that out. I really want those swtiches for various lights and things, but my van has no wiring for it after the main harness under the steering wheel, but the wiring at the battery junction box and through the firewall is there, so I can get it done!
