That is the aluminum structure holding the storage boxes and being the skeleton of the furniture.
It will be covered once finished with doors.
But that will be after summer as I have to head back home...

Similar approach as the Erector set.

Interesting to see two different approaches to solving the same problem. It seems there is more than one way to fill a gap! In the end, I like the result in both cases.

Thanks so much for this write up I’m debating pulling the trigger on an EB too today. Sent you a PM about it.

Mainly just curious about modifying the side rails and why you had to make front and rear rails. Did it not come with them or they just didn’t fit?
