What is step number one for building a CV?

Hey gang

New here so forgive me if I am missing some protocol. I am also sorry if this topic has been over played. I'll do some searching but please chime in if this topic could use a revisit.

I am at stage one! I brought home an E350 last week and will start getting to work. I plan on making a video journey but hoping to be pretty comprehensive and include advice from experts like you guys and gals.

ANYHOW, step 1! I am guessing this would be a thorough cleaning. Advice, must dos/don'ts, sealing, painting, etc.

Today, I removed everything from the back and tried to remove the seats but need a Torq 50 bit...Amazon shopping for project begins. I plan to power spray, scrub all interiors (carefully). I also cleaned the exterior and looked inside after for leaks. Seems I am ok there for now.

So, what do you suggest I look at or do for stage one? Is cleaning stage 1? Any good resources?

Thanks!!

My 2008 seats were bolted in with TorxPlus fasteners.......regular Torx bits kinda work but things get kinda worn.......

What year is your van? I don't know if older vans use Torx or TorxPlus...
