Windows-All-Glass or Frame?

I like the all-glass look; but I'm worried about wind intrusion. To those of you that have them, have you experienced any wind noise or whistle driving at highway speeds? Same Q with a strong wind storm hitting your sides while parked?

My alternative is to buy the framed glass version. The design is dated; but I wouldn't care if it meant having noise-less windows. Their frame/flange seems to "hug" the sheet metal a little tighter; but that could just an optipical collusion to my eyes.

A related question is have any of you a preference for all-glass vs frame after considering how your cranks have operated and held up?

Re: Windows-All-Glass or Frame?

I just put a CRL all glass look window in my Chevy Express this fall. It's a good design and seals up very well. No rain or melting snow has leaked through and going down the highway at 75 mph there is no noise from it at all. Only disadvantage was that it doesn't come with a pattern for the cutout. Take your time and make a good template so you get a good snug but not tight fit.

I've got the big CRL all glass. Doesn't whistle at all. I also really like the way it tips out. Two thumbs up for me.
