I saw that earlier. Solid rig, but I'm thinking I would have washed at least the exterior and removed the pallet from the interior before snapping shots.

This rig is down to $7k now. Not too bad for someone that was mechanically inclined and perhaps wasn't travelling too far.

Seems like one of the more honest descriptions I seen in an ad. 
If I had a use for a truly off-road rig, like a ranch or farm or a place where I could use that without highway travel, I'd love to have it... a quality, stock 460 is a real pleasure.

VERY well stated.
I at times still wish I had our 1988 4x4 E350 with the 460. That thing was fun! Great power and torque, but man you could watch the gas needle drop as you drive.

For me, that rig is just too rough to spend tens of thousands of dollars in repairs/mods to make it a coast-to-coast travelin' rig, but there is enough good stuff to use down-on-the-farm. Around here, we call rigs like that "last owners", which means the current owner will be the last owner before the scrap metal yard. You can have lots of fun without worrying about dents, dings, pinstriping, license plates, smog, insurance, or what yer muddinlaw thinks about it.
