That is a dang deal... I called the guy, seems way legit. Has a 5.8 (I got 200k+ miles out of my '89 5.8 F-150 4wd and the raggedy thang still passes by here once in a while). I'll be on the phone w/ Ujoint tomorrow if Christine doesn't kill me first.

You might ask "wonder why twogone likes that thing so much"?... well, not one hint of mean teal green or rigor mortis blue

But its also not a Diesel EB with the Racing Ray modifications...It does look nice for the money though.. I can see another bringing home the new Sportsmobile movie in the works...I hope you get it...

Re: 1994 ford E250 sportsmobile

I'm emailing Chris right now... It isn't for me (Ima spend millions on my "mistress") , it is for the dozens of locals wondering how can they get one. If it is lifted (even 2 inches) and 4wd for the right $, well, you know the rest... so here goes,

Hey Ujoint, whatcha thank?

Whoa, whoa... Just a minute, TWO Sportsmobiles?!?!

Actually, I would have called on it if it was a RB50 layout...

Good luck. I think it would be great with a U-Joint conversion.

Twogone, did you end up snagging it? I was trying to talk the wife into it, one of the better looking rigs for the price that ive seen up for sale in a while.

Re: 1994 ford E250 sportsmobile

Nope, passed it on to two "hunters", one said needed specific floor plan (15?) + 4wd, and the other said too old. I did get estimate from UJOINT... about 12K to put it on all 4's w/ lift. I talked to owner a bit about it... seems like a rare good deal, rare condition, and 5.8's are really long-lived. Me, I'm spending everything Christine can come up with on our project.

I feel kinda sh!tty tellin' y'all this, but maybe I'm helpin' a brother out. Current owner, (not original owner, some story about he bought, I bought...) sez he has the big C and can't use it anymore. That said, ridin' lawnmowers go for waaay more than that around here, and you can't sleep very good on 'em. Dang... 9k... now Ima think about it some more.
