Looks like it might be a former ambulance.

Nothing against surfers, but that could mean its spent a lot of it's life near oceans, and the LineX could be there to protect the metal, or it could be hiding rusted metal underneath.

Could be worthwile, but I'd spend extra time giving it the once-over.

For some reason the pictures seem familiar, I remember seeing this on craigslist awhile back but it was an add for a listing in HI. I can't seem to focus in on the licence plate in the photos, maybe someone else can see it better on there computer.
Im not saying its a scam but I would look into it carefully if someone is interested.

Add states that the pop-top was installed by SMB Austin. I wonder if they could back track the van info.?
