Ron - for the same reason my 89 SMB has a pink interior. It was the "in" thing to do do at the time, sort of like shag carpet. I have that too.

It's like being in Cookie Monster's a... stomach.

Still, it's a nice van. I'd lose the 30lb TV and redo that header, and maybe take out some of the blue walls.

My bother has the same blue interior Jayco van but in 2wd......once you have covered most of the fabric with dog hair (as he has--from his two border collies), the blue is not that nasty!
