I must agree that the newer extendable Ford towing mirrors (circa early 2000's) and the 05 or so one piece with the lower spot mirror just suck. Now that I'm waaayyyy back in a 95 with the older, boring 1 piece mirrors I'm really enjoying them. They are great and you really don't need tow mirrors for most trailers with them. Also, they are power so you can quickly adjust down for offloading or if you need to check on rear wheel clearance, etc. I do hate the boring look though.
