2000 E350 Silver $3,500

A local used car dealer here in Corvallis, Jones 5 auto Sales 541 760-1819, has a 2000 E350 XLT EB Super Duty van on their lot for $3,500. It is setup for 15 passenger seating, has the Triton V8 engine, and what looks like full float rear axel. The only body damage is a small dent just above the passenger side rear wheel and the undercarriage looked free of rust. It has 189,000 miles on it. Sorry no photos yet, will try to get some late in the week.

Do you think that this is a good price? Are the Triton V8s a good solid engine?

I had an '05 E350 in the shop last summer. At 530,000 miles the 2nd alternator finally went out. Other than routine maintenance, the alternator is the only repairs that van ever had.

I'm pretty sure that silver EB has been sitting there since well before the holidays, I admire it every time I go by. That may factor into what you could offer, if you're thinking that way. Though $3500 seems pretty low to begin with.

It is very tempting but it would wind up sitting for 18 months. Cannot do anything to it. Before then.
