2001 V10 RB QuadVan 4x4 captains chairs

Ran across this one looking for a newer van for my dad. I don't think he needs 4x4 though.

Note this is an IFS QuadVan so it is nearly at stock 2wd height.

The seats are the same that are in my van, which are really nice for long drives (all of them recline).

I sure would like one of those rear passenger bucket seats.

That looks like a nice van and I like the seat setup a lot.

So what does a Quadvans IFS use for an axle setup? Is it like an old F150 used to use? Twin I beam diff on the drivers side with a u joint in the center? I assume like all Quad vans its coil springs. Does it mount to the stock 2wd frame?

Close. It is the Dana 50 twin traction beam axle, which was used in the F250 (incl diesels) and some 350's. It is rated for 4600 pounds like the pre-'09 2wd axles. QuadVan retains coil springs (pickups all were leaf) and added adjustable camber and a 2nd shock mount. Frames are unmodified except the engine crossmember which is cut and reinforced.

Thanks I had never seen an IFS van conversion. I do remember seeing some trucks with it though.
