2002 Ford EB 4x4- unusual equipment list

Hi;

No affiliation, relation, or destination.

Wildest equipped SMB I've ever read about:

http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/f53 ... 36609.html

And a much better ad on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem=

Not sure why "fifth wheel" is in the title, but check out how many light switches are in it and how big the freezer is.

Regards,

Gavin

According to the ad, it also has three slide-outs.

Regardless, it is a unique SMB, but it will also take a unique buyer who's willing to deal with all the complex systems that have been added.

I'm in the middle of total interior replacement... had a bit of rat chewed wire behind the walls that killed the domelight. What a nightmare that could be in this rig. Just so you know, it was a dang California rat, not a Mississippi rat, so it could happen fellas!

I think that van was spec'd in preparation for the Zombie Apocalypse, what with all the lights and cameras and whatnot.

Re: 2002 Ford EB 4x4- unusual equipment list

Its definitely cool but kind of strange at the same time...

Someone has a bunch of time and money into it but getting even part of it back might be tough...

Maybe if Gavins post on here helps sells it he will get a commission...

The think the fifth wheel is to carry all the switches and wires and the slideouts are so you can work on them...

And some of you think your vans are heavy...

Cheers...

He's got lights in front of lights!

And Holy Switch Plates Batman! Did they not have gang switches back in 2002?

I think he/she meant slide out cabinets.

Before I bought my '06, I thought about getting an Airstream 190: http://tinyurl.com/8aatxne and convert it to 4x4 using a U-Joint kit and all the best crap: Dana 80's, Bushwackers, big brakes, Aluminess, blah, blah, blah. Then I looked at a '98 V-10 in CA. It was as big as a house. Everywhere I looked there was more van. Even with my back to it, I could sense its enormous presence. Mucho Grande.

Woulda cost less than my '06 RB50, but I'm glad I didn't do it.

the entire area around the Sportsmobile can be illuminated with eight flood lights. You can flip another switch and view/record a full 360° with his four video cameras and microphones mounted in the top. A full range of appliances were included plus a 5 CF freezer.

Re: 2002 Ford EB 4x4- unusual equipment list

Let's see...
60 Gal fuel
40 Gal water
20 Gal propane
6-6V Batteries
Generator
Wood floors
Steel bumpers
Roof A/C
Winch
And the list goes on....

Whats the GVWR on an E350 van? This rig sounds heavy to me...
