2002 Ford SMB 4x4 w/7.3 - $40000 (NE Redmond)

Don't know if thi one has been posted up yet....out of Central Oregon
(Not mine)

"We have decided to make our 2002 Sportsmobile available for sale. It is a custom built 4x4 camper van built on a Ford E-350 chassis including a 7.3 liter diesel motor, power windows, air conditioning, etc. This is a very capable rig with a Quigley 4x4 conversion.

Tires are Open Country M/T 265/75/16 10ply tires and include quick fit tire chains and lifetime flat and rotations thru Les Schwab. Mileage is currently 189, 203. Fuel tank has been upgraded to a 46 gallon TransferFlow giving ranges of approx 600 miles. Very heavy duty Road Armor bumpers front and back including jerry can box, spare carrier, and front winch mount.

Top pops up for additional sleeping with screened and vinyl covered windows. A locking Yakima rack system has been installed with sliding track on the poptop. Very well suited for off-the-grid adventures, including a fridge, 12v DC house battery with inverter for 110v AC, kitchen sink with onboard potable and grey water tanks, portable toilet, propane heat, Fiamma awning, privacy curtains, camp table, cabinets and storage.

This rig has been used for adventure and is not in showroom condition, but is super reliable and still looks great. If this is something you would be interested in, please contact us to arrange a viewing."

High miles, but looks promising. Rusty front bumper is a potential red flag though.

Re: 2002 Ford SMB 4x4 w/7.3 - $40000 (NE Redmond)

I talked to the owner when looking for a smb. He is the second owner, bought it from original owner in 2005 in Santa Cruz. The van, I believe spent most of it's time in Washington, the owner just recently moved to Oregon within the last year. He didn't have much for maintenance records, did much of the repairs himself, but had receipts for the parts he bought. If you're interested I'd give him a call. There are two Ford dealerships close by that could potentially check the vehicle for those far away of out of state.
