2004 Chinook 7.3L 4x4

2003 chassis gives it the 7.3L, but I doubt the 100,000 mile warranty is still in effect as claimed in the ad (5 year max?).

No word on who did the 4x4 conversion.

Not mine. No affiliation, but pretty cool and rather rare.

Looks cool. Sleeps 2 and seats 2?

Looks way roomier than my EB50

Re: 2004 Chinook 7.3L 4x4

Chinooks are pretty much what I was after during the Class C phase of my search. The right one might still win me over, but most of the layouts aren't great for sleeping a family of three that includes two six-footers, plus I'd like to seat four in forward-facing, car seat compatible seating.

My search continues.

Re: 2004 Chinook 7.3L 4x4

I want one REALLY bad and had planned on finding one after I sold my blue van. I was going to try to seat and sleep 4 which I think is borderline. Actually, it's a really bad idea for RV folks but a dream for van folks! I think it would work for my kids until they get a lot taller. The reason we are taking a pass on a Chinook is the rear entry which would interfere so bad with a bike rack and I just dont' think I could take one where I can take a van, of course I'm meaning a 2wd Chinook. I couldn't nearly afford a sweetie 4wd like this one.
It's nice, I would still be willing to try it!

There are Chinooks out there with a rear corner bed plus dinette, so that might help with the bike rack and sleeping arrangements. It's a rare layout, though.

Oh, don't I know it! I haven't found one in the last year. If a Chinook, ANY Chinook, pops up on CL anywhere in the country, it is A. a scam, or B. gone in 1 day.

However, SCbrian has a knack for finding them on the NC coast. He found me 2 or 3, but I wasn't ready then, and now I'm not really ready again.
