The rest of us would like to see pictures of said vehicle.
The driver had just a backpack n no gps n had to stay the night @ motel until wired transferred cleared. Had never even been in New England before. It took 6 months for this to be built to fit my ass. lol to the very inch. cost me about $65,000 back then
had about 16,000 miles on it.
To tell you the truth it was a few yrs ago @ the time I was kinda nervous for this young man, who obviously was just the driver/delivery guy who didn't seem very knowledgeable about much. He traveled with a one way paper ticket with no plates good up to a 30 day one way continuous trip. I told this young man to text me the first time he got stopped (which I knew there would be many). He never did. Before the van could go into Cali. I was informed that it needed to have that inspection, hense the one way paper ticket affixed to the back window.
I would love to hear the outcome. I know someone has heard of this story I'm sure at least on the other end.
I drove a van from florida to CA with no plate and never got stopped. In CA, no plate is given until you register. So all the new cars drive around with no plates until the DMV sends one. The registration is simply taped to the windshield. So the guy probably never even thought about it.
Heck, i didnt think much about it until I realized that I had the signed title in the car and that would be the only proof of ownership I had.
