For someone who wants a relatively inexpensive van to build up, I saw this one advertised on a motorcycle website...
(I might be interested myself, but I just spent the past 25 days hospitalized and I am waiting to see what my capabilities are after recovery.)

2005 E350 extended cargo van, 6.0 powerstroke, auto, with 130,000 miles.
runs super, you wont be disappointed.
-tow package
-this van was a secured document carrier before I bought it.
-I bought it with 119, 000 on it.
-I had the front end redone
-EGR cooler block off done, and a SCT tuner installed.( $1000 to have done)
-I installed a back seat out of a conversion van so it will haul 5 people, and you can sleep on the back seat at the track.
-I installed a CD player nothing fancy but does the job.
-I will include the 2 wheel chocks in the cargo area.
-e track on walls with 4 rings.
-it has a wall and floor package in it. a lot nicer than the standard bare walls.
-it will need tires soon
KBB retail is $11,700, and private party is $9500.
