2006 Sprinter SMB in Pennsylvania

We're interested in that Sportsmobile Sprinter in Philly, although it's a long ways from home for a quick look. It doesn't appear to have any heating, which we'd probably need to add for chilly mountain evenings.
Any suggestions on a local mechanic that could provide an independent evaluation? And what's a reasonable price for this unit compared to other more fully featured units with heating, generator and AC?

I have a local mechanic that does all the work on my Ford SMB. PM me if you want the details. The Sprinter for sale is fairly close to where I live and where my mechanic is. There's also a local MB Sprinter dealer if you want a dealer to take a look at it. If you want somebody to look at the SMB camper bits and its general condition, I'm willing to take a look at it for you.

That would be very helpful to have a local experienced Sportsmobile user take a look at the unit. The owner is a friendly retired gentleman who had one of his work Sprinters converted for camper use when he sold his business. BrianW: I've PM'd the owner contact details to you and mentioned that you might contact him.
Just want to say how much we appreciate the offer of assistance in evaluating this Sportsmobile. We're new to this and there are so many details to understand and evaluate!

With great help from forum member BrianW we were able to evaluate this Sprinter 2000 miles from home, make the long distance deal, fly out on the red-eye to Philly last Thursday, and drive home to Colorado over the weekend.

We enjoyed many great trips in our 1977 VW Westfalia camper years ago and now we're happy to join fellow Sportsmobile owners with a (relatively) modern camper van that climbs Vail pass faster than 28 mph!

Sportsmobile forum members provide wonderful support to new users. BrianW took the time to personally meet the previous owner and inspect the unit, something we couldn't do from 2000 miles away. Thank you Brian!
