2013 E350 van

Wheelchair lift van, but more important than that are these cool fold down seats. Great idea for a conversion van that only sometimes needs additional seating.

No affiliation.

Nearly every Transit bus ever made has wall-mounted seats. Haven't really seen them fail.

Also, mobility vans have to meet tougher rollover standards than regular conversion vans which means the high top roofs have roof reinforcements. Also, mobility vans have to be crash tested after conversion.

Too bad that one doesn't have the V10 (well, good for my bank account). Otherwise, it's almost exactly what I want. I would love folding seats. I spend too much time lugging seats in an out of the van, and the tall rear doors would be nice for loading in bikes.

Re: 2013 E350 van

The coolest folding seat I've seen in a van was in a European Sprinter that I drove in France back in 2004. It had a second-row bench seat that folded and rolled forward and up to form a solid bulkhead behind the front seats (hard to describe, but it was neat). It took only seconds to convert the van from a crew-cab vehicle with second row windows and bench seat to full-on cargo van with a solid floor to ceiling bulkhead.

Was just looking on Google and couldn't find any photos of it, so maybe they don't make it any more.
