Good luck !!

PS I'm subscribed to a chinook owners discussion board from my previous intentions of getting one... That's where I bumped into this.

Re: 4 x 4 Chinook

I think that one had popped up here before. Sure wish there were some Chinooks available with a second pair of Captains seats behind the first set.

The Dynamax Isata 235 has quad captains chairs! I think they are pretty close to what Chinook used to do, in terms of construction and build quality.

Probably better. Dynamax are among my favorites, but they are elusive. Very hard to find in my experience, and I couldn't afford one anyway, but I can dream. Those 20-25' ones they did on an F450? Diesel chassis a few years ago were amazing.

They are offered on E & F-series. The F-series versions just have a slightly different number (i.e. the 235 becomes the 255 when its on an F truck).

In related news.... Guaranty RV told me last month that Chinooks will resume production at the Country Coach plant in Coburg, OR.

Re: 4 x 4 Chinook

Well... some chatter on the Chinook Owners forum today indicates that it IS NOT 4x4.

Sorry about that...
