I knew somebody here would find the actual ad/auction. I know it's come up before, but what is the scam? Con some poor schmuck into sending a deposit sight unseen and run off with it? It's funny how these ads almost always have an oddball price that is way lower than market value. You'd think they'd price it with a round number that is just far enough under market value for people to think it's just a good deal. I usually assume they're fake ads when there's no phone number and the background scenery doesn't match the ad's location. On the other hand, I've emailed some questionably low priced motorcycle ads and just never got a response, yet they continue to renew the ad. Is simply having someone's email address all they're after?

I've flagged that same ad a dozen times, keeps popping up here too. I'm not sure what they're after, maybe emails? Nice rig though, looking to make one just like it.....

I saved the image, and then did a Google image search which brought me to the eBay listing.
