97 SMB 4x4 hard top in SoCal with 7.3 motor

Anyone know anything about this rig? Or have a knowledgeable opinion about this combo?

An older, retired single friend of mine from AZ is interested in it and I’m trying to help her determine whether or not this would be a good adventure vehicle for her.

1997 Sportsmobile Ford E350, Quigley 4x4, 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel - $41000 (Arroyo Grande)

She travels solo, this one fits her budget and she’s looking for a 4x4 rig, so any advice from others as to what to consider or look out for here would be most helpful and appreciated.

It looks like a great layout for a solo traveler. Low miles and very well outfitted, even with a generator. I had the same 7.3 hardtop Quiqley combo on my last van. Unless she likes the Diesel she might want to consider the V10 with the newer transmission. Much quieter, much better transmission and much more of a joy to travel in...IMHO. Also no worrying about EGT temps. Still that is a great setup at what seems like a very reasonable price. If she is ok with Diesel seems like a great van.
Let me know if you have questions or PM if you want to chat by phone.

Yeah, thanks.

Geeze....somehow I missed these other forum posts on this van (and I’d even commented on one!).

Looks like maybe new tires and wheels added?

Still could be a good deal at a lower price ($?) still leaving room for some profit to the re-seller.
