Very cool, and it's a dually too.

Amazing how one little word can make a difference in a sentence.

"Overhead area could be used for storage of sleeping for small child"

Maybe it should read:
"Overhead area could be used for storage or sleeping for small child"

Pretty clean looking, and not just for a 35 year old van.

Those were way ahead of their time. That's really a sweet floorplan, but won't work for most of us since we need the side door.

Nice rig!

Chinook was always above an beyond. Too bad they went out of business... or did they? Wait, looks like you can still order a Baja from Fretzrv.com who supposedly took over the line or something...

Hmm, going to start a thread in Campfire. I always figured if I side-graded from an SMB I'd go with a Chinook Baja, but I also thought they weren't made anymore.

Or it could be intended as:

"Overhead area could be used for storage of sleeping small child" ([s:1d1xbqww]for[/s:1d1xbqww])

If they're not sleeping, it's just wasted storage space.

Our child typically wakes up and thunks on the lid until we stop and let him out.

Re: Cool 1977 Chinook 4X4

Hi;

Love this rv.

Budget is presently swallowing plans for a 40 x 80 man cave. I refuse to work on the fleet outdoors any longer.

I'll post photos as it goes up.

Regards,

Gavin
