Re: couple of 4x4 vans in idaho falls idaho.

As far as the original builder yes. We do no sell vans or do we currently sell the conversion yet. The details and production costs are still being finalized as well as product testing. There is no set or projected timeline of when this will be for resale for the consumer. This will be another product and service that will be added to our existing line. Street-able functional and dependable suspensions is nothing new to us. We are exploring the market to see what will work for us as far as selling kits, stages of kits or just selling the service to convert to 4 wheel drive with our parts. We know that there is a large % of people that would like to perform there own conversions for allot lower cost rather than being limited due to our location and the cost of our services. So that is an aspect that we are considering seriously.

I can share with you a few details and specs on the conversion. It uses a ford Dana Super 60 from there HD truck line, the construction allows the use of the factory coil springs and shocks from the Dana Super 60, and give the consumer the ability to give added lift to the front suspension by moving the coil and shock mounts with out having to get lift springs and longer shocks. If they want to go with lift springs and shocks that will work too. The control arm configuration allows for the needed adjustment to compensate for different lift heights. It also gives the user a wide range of adjustment for the preference of consumer by the adjustment design. The first few arms that we built are made of a combination of 3/16" and 1/4" P&O steel and the lower arms are made of 2" .250 wall DOM tubing and the uppers are 1-3/4" .120 wall DOM tubing. The Joints are 1.25" flex joints with a single side adjuster, PTFE bushings and are rebuild-able and can be adjusted to compensate for wear. The Track bar is also adjustable and eliminates the factory ball joint attachment on the Dana Super 60. The rear axle options are to use the stock van rear end with wheel adapters to match the front lug pattern and to match the width of the front axle. Allot of R&D is going into the geometry of the steering and suspension components to eliminate the common issues that come with this type of suspension.

Like i said earlier this is still being developed to our standards. There are a few conversions out there but are some of our first ones produced. The specs are still not set in stone. I would be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability.

Thanks.
