E250 Spy van, includes periscope

No affiliation.

This was owned by the King County Sheriffs department and was used for surveillance. It is very unique inside and has a toilet, heat, cooling system and a periscope. It has an original 17k miles on it. Perfect for a private eye. Call or text with any questions.

That kicks tail. It should be in a museum somewhere. Not sure of it's use otherwise, except that office chair looks really comfy.

Yea, a brown 1985 van in absolute mint condition with a portal window in the side looks so inconspicuous.

If I saw that parked anywhere in public I would say to myself,"that's the cops all right". Must be why they are selling it.

Jay Leno has a collection of vintage police cars. It's just funky enough to add to a collection like his.

All it needs are the words "Free Candy" painted on the side. Already dark and creepy inside.

Stale donuts and coffee not included. Interesting, but $11k?

Me too, at first....but then I noticed that (based on the floor-mounted periscope spyglass apparatus) it appears to extend *downward* and beneath the floor.

What could be more sneaky? No telltale periscope poking out of the roof. Private eyes totally get the coolest stuff.

(Of course, if anyone noticed a bizarre protrusion under the van that drops down and peers around from deep in the shadows under the van, it might be even more alarming than seeing a periscope on top.....)

EDIT: On second glance, I'm not sure that the apparatus on the floor is actually a spyglass component.....and it would appear as if that would have to drop down right through the driveshaft....so perhaps scratch my "belly scope" theory......

Periscope or not, the Battery Compartment is pretty cool though.

Dave, more on periscopes. I don't think the van in the listing had it installed for the pictures.
