Sad to see a such a magnificent specimen damaged beyond repair, i'm sure in its prime it was a great looking tree.

I just saw somebody on the Reno (I think) CL selling a set of four SMB OEM window plastic trim pieces. I don't have the link, but search Reno CL and you'll find it if still available.

An hour with a sawzall and you've got yourself a decent flatbed! I suspect the frame isn't even as bent as the body damage makes it look, it its even bent at all, since it looks like all the weight was centered over the axle. Which in '98 would be a full float!

Had to go back for a second look then realized - those are some bad ass tires. To recover after carrying the impact & weight is amazing. Manufacturer should use the photo to promote the Brand

No, I'm not joking. The body panel got smashed downward, but look where the tailpipe is. It's now touching the body, which is why I think it's all in the body work. Plus, why would the frame bend, when all the weight is being transferred directly to the axle? The rear bumper looks like it didn't move either. Instead, the body lifted and pulled away from it.

Ford V10 E-van slight body damage
I was just up in that area today (it’s along the Delaware River north of Philly). Unfortunately I saw this post when I got home or I would have gone to look at it out of curiosity.
My SMB is a 5.4 1998. Hmmm... maybe a body swap? :-)
