Holy Smokes - The miles on this Duramax

Any one taken a 6.0 close to that kind of mileage?

I'm guessing there's an extra zero on there, otherwise the driver seat would be trashed.

Negative, The guy does say "don't let the mileage scare you" so it has to be actual miles.

and why should "it was used for expediting" reduce one's worry about the mileage ... what even does that mean? ... it was always driven fast?

You know at least the EGR valve would be relatively clean

Delivering goods. Probably across the country.

Looks to be set up for hauling motorcycles, or at least that it what I would use it for.

Only needs a "just broke in" thrown in for good measure. Hey you know, I can see Eric (86Scotty) being intrigued with this thing. Eric, you out there?

Ha! No thanks. I draw the line at about 530k.

Achop, what they are trying to say is that it has highway miles on it vs. stop and start/short trips. Highway miles are generally easier on every aspect of a vehicle.

I'm no expert on Duramax engines but I have heard they are incredibly durable and as for the OP's question about anyone running a 6.0l Ford that long I would say NO!

Eric, thanks for clarifying (taking pity on me ;-).

btw, i almost looked you up a couple weeks ago on my way thru that region, but as usual was running behind schedule. my new hometown 4x4 shop said TN has some great off-road parks for training myself up ;-)
