It was $18500 yesterday

Now it's $20000 is this rampant van inflation? It's been for sale for maybe 2 weeks at $18500, I'm looking for one for a conversion, I never bothered to call.

Call them up and tell them you WERE going to offer at lower price...but now...or maybe it is too late...These SMB'ers/personal van converters/sideline watchers are jumping on them ASAP...so it is just one of those things I guess...jump in and never look back b/c the more days that pass w/o is the more days at your house w/o a van driving on cool adventures getting away from it all! Good luck!

I would never consider spending $8K + on a 15+ yr old van no matter the circumstances....
But, hey... some people are willing.

The old saying - buying or crying?

Here's my opinion.....
The 5.4 and V10 are 300k+ motors with $1500 in maintenance.
The 7.3 can go, but it's going to cost a lot more to maintain.
The 7.3 only gained popularity after how horrible the 6.0psd was. Honestly you couldn't give me a 6.0. I like the V10, 5.4 and the 7.3, but never the 6.0.

Something is sketchy on this one. Dude posts it, pulls it down, posts it again, raises price. Sounds like a nutter. Would not buy.

I would think this one not being an extended body might limit real interest for anyone looking to convert it to an SMB-type van.

Honestly the price is pretty out there even with the 7.3----I could see it going quickly at $10 k though.....

Meeting with this guy in person might make negotiating a bit easier---despite all the hype about what a near-perfect vehicle this one is its still a 15 year old used potentially maintenance heavy vehicle that just doesn't have that much appeal to the average buyer.

Just IMHO ya understand............. Someone will buy this, just a matter of time.

For converting to 4x4, which is why most want the 7.3, the RB is usually preferred I think.

Sticker price on this van in 2003 was ~35,000. Only losing $15k after 15 years is pretty nice...
