Oc Craigsfist, Deaver springs for SuperDuty.

Howdy, was just trolling the "C", and saw these springs come up in the auto parts section of Orange County. Not sure they are correct for vans...or even a good deal. Just passing it on!

That sounds like a teaser to me.

I saw them listed, not mine, and prolly not correct for anyone's van. I searched "Deaver" and they came up in the auto parts section. Super duty springs from Deaver.

ha ha

yep that's the ticket.

they look pretty beefy.

think they would fit a van?

if so, probably go a long way in helping rear end sag.

Funny, their web site doesn't reference a 6" lift for heavier Fords. If it's 5", might be a good fit for someone.

Re: Oc Craigsfist, Deaver springs for SuperDuty.

F-series have a slightly longer eye-to-eye length than the E-series leafs, at least stock. I tried some Superduty spring on my van and there was a little rubbing with the spring and shackle mount. That running might be worse on a spring with even more arch. It also located the axle rearward about an inch too far (which didn't seem to hurt anything but chains clearance in the finder).

But for that price.... might be worth it to re-locate the rear shackles. Just grind away some rivets, and bolt them up a little rearward....
